Gothic Transformations and Remediations in Cheap Nineteenth-Century Fiction

My project explores the intersection between form and content in 19th century gothic fiction. I imagine stories, characters, and tropes in a constant state of motion. The result is a combination of book history and literary critical analysis that provides insight into the development of popular fiction.
